As part of my work for Japan Travel KK, I created and hosted a travel podcast during the covid-19 pandemic (and Japan’s closed borders). I covered mainstream topics such as the cherry blossoms and ski in Japan as well as professional events such as the Japan Tourism Showcase in Osaka, Kansai and Tokyo Tokyo Delicious Museum. I also interviewed foreign residents in Japan and business owners. The concept was developed with the Japan Travel community, and I initially did all the audio editing, later helped by an intern.
This Japan Travel Podcast was stopped when Japan fully reopened its borders as our company needed me to help full-time our media and travel departments (my official role changed to business development manager soon after).
