Japan Travel KK is a media & travel agency with headquarters in Tokyo. It was created after the big earthquake of 2011 to support the locals of the Tohoku region through tourism, and now supports the economy of Japan’s 47 prefectures.
Its Media department notably provides consulting services (westerners, sustainability, guide training…), content creation services (articles, videos, websites… in diverse languages), and websites/SNS management services. Clients include hotels, local governments (cities, prefectures, ministries), travel agencies, railway companies, airlines…
Its Travel department notably provides consulting, planning, and booking services for travellers from all over the world, in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese… Its travel agents are used to typical travellers but also to VIPs, interest groups, and groups of professionals.
Most staff live in Tokyo but some live in Kanagawa prefecture (famous for Yokohama and Kamakura), Ishikawa prefecture (famous for Kanazawa and cycling), and Osaka prefecture (which will host the World Expo in 2025).
