Hokkaido Region
Hokkaido is the largest Japanese prefecture so it’s also a region by itself.
I helped create a microsite promoting its wonderful nature.
Tohoku Region
Tohoku contains 6 Japanese prefectures: Akita, Aomori, Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi, and Yamagata.
Akita prefecture: I provided on-site consulting regarding cycling and food tourism notably in Oga city.
Aomori prefecture: Details pending.
Fukushima prefecture: I notably provided on-site consulting regarding “hope tourism” (reference: project description in Japanese on the website of Japan’s Reconstruction Agency).
Iwate prefecture: Details pending.
Miyagi prefecture: I helped promote spiritual tours in Sendai city on social networks.
Yamagata prefecture: I helped promote spiritual tours through online live events. I also advised a mayor about food exports.
Kanto Region
Kanto contains 7 Japanese prefectures: Chiba, Gunma, Ibaraki, Kanagawa, Saitama, Tochigi, and Tokyo.
Chiba prefecture: Most significantly, I did remote consulting and on-site tasting related to the regional cuisine to help create ads and promotional events in the frame of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic & Paralympic Games. I also guided in this area.
Gunma prefecture: Details pending.
Ibaraki prefecture: I notably provided on-site consulting regarding food tourism (fermentation + cooking class based on local ingredients). I also guided and interpreted for board members of multinationals during factory visits.
Kanagawa prefecture: I guided many times in Hakone, Kamakura and Odawara (couples, family, business groups). I also wrote an article about a vegan restaurant and about an exciting teahouse. I also helped promote local beauty (nail) products.
Saitama prefecture: I notably provided on-site consulting regarding sustainable tourism at Chichibu geopark to help improve processes and to create better tours. I notably provided on-site consulting regarding day trips for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Tochigi prefecture: I guided several times especially in Nikko city.
Tokyo prefecture: I notably helped promote illuminations and businesses in central Tokyo on social networks with Taiwanese influencers. I was notably in charge of French news on the official website of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. I guided many times in Tokyo.
Chubu Region
Chubu contains 9 Japanese prefectures: Aichi, Fukui, Gifu, Ishikawa, Nagano, Niigata, Shizuoka, Toyama, and Yamanashi.
Aichi prefecture: I organized on-site consulting in Chita area.
Fukui prefecture: I notably provided on-site consulting regarding road trips and wrote an article introducing the Port of Humanity Tsuruga Museum, the Varve Museum, and Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum.
Gifu prefecture: I notably provided on-site consulting regarding road trips and wrote an article introducing Shirakawa-go, sword making in Seki City, and Japanese folklore performances in Takayama
Ishikawa prefecture: I notably provided on-site consulting regarding road trips and wrote an article introducing selected spots in Kanazawa as well as Natadera. I also guided VIPs during cycling tours in Noto Peninsula, managed a video project related to campervan road trips with AI support, organized cycling monitor tours in Wajima, and created training manuals for cycling guide candidates.

Niigata prefecture: I guided on Sado Island. I organized on-site consulting for a museum.
Shizuoka prefecture: I notably guided around/at Mount Fuji.
Toyama prefecture: I notably provided on-site consulting regarding road trips and wrote an article introducing Toyama Bay, Gokayama (Suganuma & Ainokura hamlets), waterfall meditation at Oiwa-san Nisseki-ji. I also guided in this area.
Yamanashi prefecture: I notably provided on-site consulting regarding food tourism on Mount Minobu and helped promote it through the creation & publication of one article and SNS posts.
Kansai Region
Kansai (also known as Kinki) contains 7 Japanese prefectures: Hyogo, Kyoto, Mie, Nara, Osaka, Shiga, and Wakayama.
Hyogo prefecture: I mostly guided during spiritual tours including Ishi-no-Hoden.
Kyoto prefecture: I guided a lots in Kyoto. I also helped promote local beauty (nail) products.
Mie prefecture: I helped promote the local traditional culture through online live events.
Nara prefecture: I guided a lots in Nara.
Osaka prefecture: I guided a lots in Osaka. I also helped promote events through publications on Japan Travel KK portal and social networks. I managed a project including the creation of 4 videos promoting MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) in Osaka.
Shiga prefecture: I guided there in the frame of a factory visit and sightseeing.
Wakayama prefecture: I did on-site consulting many times in Wakayama, mostly related to cycling tourism.
Chugoku Region
Chugoku contains 5 Japanese prefectures: Hiroshima, Okayama, Shimane, Tottori, and Yamaguchi.
Hiroshima prefecture: Most significantly, I guided VIP cyclists.

Shikoku Region
Shikoku contains 4 Japanese prefectures: Ehime, Kagawa, Kochi, and Tokushima.
Ehime prefecture: Most significantly, I advised rangers at Ashizuri-Uwakai national park regarding inbound tourism (including improvements of facilities). I also guided VIP cyclists.
Kagawa prefecture: Most significantly, I advised about sustainable tourism and gourmet travel on Shodoshima.
Kochi prefecture: Most significantly, I advised rangers at Ashizuri-Uwakai national park regarding inbound tourism (including improvements of facilities). I helped organize a tour there for vegan VIPs.
Tokushima prefecture: Most significantly, I created a manual for group guides coming to Tokushima Prefectural Museum for the first time.
Kyushu Region
Kyushu contains 7 Japanese prefectures: Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Nagasaki, Oita, and Saga.

Okinawa is a Japanese prefecture that is sometimes counted independently, sometimes counted as part of Kyushu.
